RAMONA I. HEYN, 85 of Hackensack passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, prior to retiring she was a label setter for D & I Printing in Englewood. Ramona was the Secretary and Treasure for the USS ALMAACK AK-27/AKA-10 Reunion Committee; she was a former member of the Ridgefield Park and Elmwood Park VFW ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary for the American Legion in Rochelle Park. Beloved wife of the late William F. Heyn Jr. (2008) for 61 happy years. Cherished mother of Charles W. Heyn and his wife Norma of Rochelle Park, James E. Heyn of Hackensack and William T. Heyn and his wife Christina of Springfield, MA. Loving grandmother of Six grandchildren and Three great grandchildren. Dearest sister of the late Frank and James Lacey. Ramona is also survived by her brother in-law Ted Heyn and his wife Ann of Florida. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 23, at 8:30 PM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Lung Association of NJ, 1600 Route 22 East, Union, NJ 07083.
