Obituary of Adelaide Marie Barreto

ADELAIDE MARIE BARRETO, (nee Berrios), of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Bronx, NY, passed away peacefully, at her home on Friday, March 28, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 71 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Society for Holy Cross Church in Bronx, NY. Adelaide was a full time mother that absolutely adored spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved music, word puzzles, and enjoying life with a smile. Beloved wife of Jose Barreto for 49 ½ incredible years. Devoted mother of Joseph Barreto and his wife Teresa, and Rachel Velez and her husband Carlos. Cherished grandmother of Charles, Andrew, Victoria, and Joseph. Dearest sister of William, Joaquin, Carlos, Gil, Jaime, and Antonio. Adelaide is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack at 11:00 AM with burial following at Maple Grove Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 – 9:00 PM.
