Obituary of Mary Maffetone

MARY DINALLO MAFFETONE, of South Hackensack, died on Sunday, January 11.2009, at her home, at the age of 91 years. She was born in Newark and lived in South Hackensack for more than 60 years. Prior to retiring, she was a waitress at Jenny's Luncheonette of South Hackensack where she worked for many years. She was a member of the South Hackensack Senior Citizens, the Ladies Auxiliary of South Hackensack Fire Company # 2, and was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Beloved wife of the late Patsy Maffetone. Devoted mother of Ida Sofia and her husband Salvatore of West Paterson, Peter Maffetone and his wife Joan of Ridgewood, and Diane Capizzi and her husband John of Toms River. Loving grandmother of Gary, Salvatore, Stacy, Courtney, and Kathryn. Cherished great grandmother of T.J., Anthony, Angelina, Michael, Joseph, Vincent, Juliana, and Dominic. Dearest sister of Maggie Szawiola of Hackensack, Victor Dinallo and his wife Eleanor of Bloomingdale, Elizabeth Iozzia and her husband Anthony of Toms River, and the late, Angelo Dinallo, Carmen Dinallo, Nicholas Dinallo, and Antoinette Blundo.The Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 14th,at the Church of the Immaculate Conception at 10:30 AM with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack 07601 would be appreciated.
