RAPHAEL J. "RAY" SAVARESE, of South Hackensack , died on Thursday November 6, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Prior to retiring in 1993, he worked as a Bus Driver for New Jersey Transit and he was a member of the New Jersey Transit Workers Union, Maplewood , NJ . He was a parishioner of Church of the Immaculate Conception in Hackensack . Beloved husband of Charlotte A. (nee Nenninger). Loving father of Michael J. Savarese of Woodbine, NJ, Carl V. Savarese of South Hackensack and the late David C. Savarese. Cherished grandfather of Shaun M. and Jonathan C. Savarese of South Hackensack . Dearest brother of Vincent Savarese of Arizona . Ray is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Monday, November 10th, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street , Hackensack . The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 10th at Church of the Immaculate Conception,49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack , at 10:00 AM with burial following at Laurel Grove Park Cemetery , Totowa.
