Obituary of Joseph Carmen Mazza

JOSEPH CARMEN MAZZA, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at the Eckstein Center in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 66 years. Prior to retiring earlier this year he was a real estate broker and owned West Star Real Estate Management Co. of Phoenix, Arizona. Previously he owned Mazza-Buono Real Estate of Hackensack for more than 20 years. He was a member of the B.P,O,E. # 335 of Phoenix and a former parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved son of the late Carmen and Jennie Rinaldi Mazza. Devoted father of Erin O'Neill and Shawn Oliver of Phoenix, Arizona, Alison Mazza of Manahawkin and Daniel and Bonnie Mazza of Tempe, Arizona. Cherished grandfather of Braden and Natalie Oliver. Dearest brother of the late Mary Ann Mihalik. Adored cousin of Jody Pasqua of Little Ferry and countless cousins, friends and loved ones. Joe was a loving father and friend, a varsity athlete at Hackensack High School and an avid golfer (3 hole in 1's). Of his many life accomplishments, Joe will be remembered most for the enduring love, care, and loyalty he showed his family. He will be always in our hearts. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 17th, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack at 11:00 AM. Visiting will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
