Obituary of Mary J. Aletta

MARY J. MINARDI ALETTA, of South Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2015, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 93 years. Born in Crucible, PA to the late Philomena and Louis Minardi, she resided in South Hackensack for 55 years. She worked for Kraissl Company of Hackensack, as office manager and vice president for 27 years, prior to retiring in 1984. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Beloved wife of the late Michael P. Aletta who died in 2011. Devoted mother of Jacqueline Millevoi and her husband Anthony J. of South Hackensack, and John M. Aletta and his wife Elvira G. of Williamsville, New York. Cherished grandmother of Gianmichael and Sofia F. Aletta. Dearest sister of the late Ruth Falato, Rose Genduso, Minnie Barlotta, Lena Cafasso, Rozella Malfa and Carmela Rattacasa. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews, her companion Lia Shiukashvili, and many friends. The funeral on Monday, March 2nd, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. The family prefers that you honor her memory with a memorial donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-19045.
