Obituary of Eileen W. Scarlett

EILEEN WINIFRED REID SCARLETT, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 83 years. Born in Hanover, Jamaica she came to this country in 1989 settling in Hackensack. Prior to retiring, she was a Nursing Assistant for Patient Care of Ridgewood. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness of Hackensack. Beloved wife for 39 years of Thomas Scarlett. Devoted mother of Merlin Walker of Hackensack, Dennis A. Dixon of Hackensack, June W. Dickson of Hackensack, Barrington Dickson of Jamaica, Anthony Dias of Hackensack, Errol Crooks of Derby, Connecticut, Jennifer Scarlett of Hackensack, Beverly Scarlett of Hackensack, and Delsada Scarlett of Hackensack. Cherished grandmother of 27 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20th, at 11:00 AM with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting will be on Friday evening, September 19th from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
