Obituary of Carmela Mondello

Carmela Penola Mondello, of Hackensack, died on Thursday, March 22, 2007, at the age of 99 years. Prior to retiring, she worked at the Silk Mills in Paterson. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Predeceased by her husband Anthony Mondello, a daughter, Marie Siracusa, and several brothers and sisters, she is survived by her daughter Jo Ann Harris of Hackensack, her grandchildren, James, Jodi Ann, Louis, Jo Anne and Frank, her 10 great grandchildren, and a sister Angie Vigorito of Clifton. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, March 27th, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack with entombment following at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. Visiting will be on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.. Memorial donations to The St. Jude Foundation, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105 would be appreciated.
