Obituary of Haywood Morrow

Haywood Morrow, of Fair Lawn, formerly of Teaneck, died on Monday, January 2, 2006, at the age of 89 years. Born in Canton, North Carolina, he lived in Teaneck for more than 35 years prior to moving to Fair Lawn 4 years ago. He retired in 1981 as a warehouseman for Huffman and Koos of Totowa where he worked for 12 years. Prior to that he worked for Continental Paper of Ridgefield Park for more than 32 years. He was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church of Ridgefield Park. Predeceased by his wife, Katherine T. Good Morrow who died in 1973, a son John J. Morrow who died in 1979, and a brother, T. Nelson Morrow, he is survived by three daughters, Eileen Ippoliti of West Milford, Joan Stappenbeck of Wayne, Anne Scheidecker of West Milford, six sons, Thomas of Fair Lawn, Richard of Secaucus, Kevin of Waldwick, Daniel of Lodi, California, Michael of Monroe, NY, and Kenneth of Jefferson Township, a sister, Thelma Walker of Old Tappan, 22 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church, 114 Mt. Vernon Street, Ridgefield Park on Friday, January 6th, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
