Obituary of John Sciarabba

JOHN SCIARABBA, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at the age of 72 years. Prior to retiring, he worked as a custodian at the Ketler Elementary School in Westwood. He served his country during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church and was member of the American Legion. Beloved husband of Blanca (nee Valavezo). Devoted father of John Sciarabba and his wife Gabriella, Mary Ellen Snyder, and Kathy Vincegarra and her husband Robert. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan, Derek, and Arianna. Dearest brother of Peter Sciarabba and his wife Joanne and the late Rose Marie Yanni. The funeral on Saturday, December 29th, at 8:30 AM from the Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with cremation following at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
