Obituary of Angelo E. Penque

ANGELO E. "SONNY" PENQUE, of Paramus, formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at the age of 85 years. He retired in 2008 as Deputy County Clerk after working for the Bergen County Clerks Office for over 55 years. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus of Paramus and a parishioner of The Church of the Annunciation. Beloved husband of the late Millie (nee Agosta) 2012. Devoted father of David E. Penque and his wife Patricia of Upper Saddle River and Scott A. Penque of Paramus. Cherished grandfather of David, Michael, Scott, and Diana. Dearest brother of Gloria Calandrillo and her husband John of Saddle Brook, and the late Adeline Deo, Mary Gentempo, Arline Risky, Ann Marie Dante, and Emil Penque. Angelo is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral on Thursday at 9:30 AM from the funeral home. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at The Church of the Annunciation, 50 West Midland Avenue, Paramus at 10:45 AM with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
