Obituary of Marylene Serrano

MARYLENE TAYAG SERRANO, of Little Ferry, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 16, 2011, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 54 years. Born in Angeles City, Philippines, she came to this country in 1982 settling in Hackensack and has lived in Little Ferry for five years. She worked as a Care Giver for senior citizens. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved wife of Ric Serrano. Devoted mother of Hajjie Tayag of South Carolina, Erin Serrano of Hoboken and Ric Serrano II of Little Ferry. Devoted daughter of Clarita and the late Cenon Tayag of the Philippines. Dearest sister of Joel Tayag and his wife Rosie of Little Ferry. There will be a Funeral Blessing at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with cremation to follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory in Paterson. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
