Obituary of Elaine Costello

Costello, Elaine (nee Plati), of Maywood, passed away on peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Hackensack University Medical Center at the age of 78 years. Prior to retiring, she was an Administrative Assistant at Fort Monmouth in Oceanport, NJ. She was a former crossing guard in Saddle Brook. Predecesed by her son Stephen Costello who died in 2001 and a sister Eleanor Piazza who died in 2013, she is survived by her sister Michele Sanzari and her husband Richard of Saddle Brook,a grandson Patrick, her nieces, Nicole Franco, Nihad Peavler, and Vicki Liquori, her nephew, Richard Sanzari, and seven great nieces and nephews. Visiting will be held on Friday from 8:30-10:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at Holy Trinity RC Church, 34 Maple Ave, Hackensack. Entombment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery.
