Obituary of Josephine M. Sgro

JOSEPHINE ANDREOLO SGRO, of Hackensack, died on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Woodcrest Center in New Milford, at the age of 100 years, Born in Valle D'Angeles, Italy, she came to this country in 1912 settling in Hackensack, Prior to retiring, she was a seamstress for Toronto Coat Company of Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Philip Sgro. Devoted mother of Rose Marie Martino and her husband Steve.Cherished grandmother of Stephen P. Martino, and Laura D"Amico and her husband Joseph. Adored great grandmother of Joseph and Julianne. Dearest sister of Anthony Andreolo. The funeral on Tuesday, September 15th, at 10:00 AM, from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 -4 and 7 - 9 PM.
