Obituary of Josephine Dalessio

JOSEPHINE "Bebe" (nee Pandelo) DALESSIO, of South Hackensack passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Jerry D. Dalessio (former South Hackensack Police Chief). Loving mother of Jerry Dalessio and Judy Diraimondo and her husband Jim. Dearest sister of the late John Pandelo, Sarah Berriro, Anthony Pandelo Mary lou Cenicola and Clement Pandelo, Josephine is also survived by several loving and caring nieces, nephews and many friends. She was a former member and ex-president of the South Hackensack Senior Citizens Club, a member of the Ladies Aux Fire Co. #2, member of Memorial School PTA and a Cub Scout Leader (Den Mother), she especially loved bowling, skating, biking and she won 3 medals in the Senior Citizen Olympics for swimming and of course Dancing, she was a volunteer at Hackensack University Medical Center and she was also known for her crazy Halloween costumes every year, she was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Hackensack. The Funeral on Friday July 10, 2015 at 8:45 AM at the Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 – 5 & 7 - 9 PM for visitation.
