Obituary of Michael J. Sanzari

MICHAEL "Mike Six" J. SANZARI Jr., of Hackensack passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at the age of 83. He was a Veteran of the United States Marines proudly serving during the Korean War. Prior to retiring he worked for the Bergen County Sheriffs Department for 19 years, as a Court Security Officer, he also worked for Lowes Paper Co. in Ridgefield, NJ for 45 years retiring as a Superintendent. He was a parishioner of Church of the Immaculate Conception, Hackensack. Beloved husband of Dorothy L. (nee Dobler) for 60 years. Devoted father of Michael and his wife Alice, Richard and his wife Rosemary and Robert Sanzari. Cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Peter, Anabelle and Jessie-Marie Sanzari. Devoted son of the late Michael and Margaret Sanzari. Beloved son-in-law of the late Harry and Marie Dobler. Dearest brother of the late Joyce Nigro. Michael is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Monday August 10, at 9:30 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack.
