To the Pappas family, I was so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. My prayers will be with you all in this time of great loss. I first met Jim back in 1976 when I graduated from Bergen County Votech as a carpentry student. I was hired by Pappas Construction and had the great pleasure of working with Jim for at least two years. If we all had such a wonderful first job experience, people would not wonder if they made the right career choices. Jim was as much a teacher as a leader. From the very start I considered him a friend as much as a boss. Work days were always productive but lots of fun. Jim’s sense of humor would always make time fly. Though we lost touch over the years I have talked many times about my first job and the funny boss he was. I truly feel loss over a friendship that moved but was never forgotten. All I know is our loss is heavens gain. He has entered the gates of heaven hearing, Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant!
I pray that the God of Love and compassion will be with you all and will meet all of your emotional and spiritual needs as you go through this time. And remember, in God’s eyes this is but a moment and we will all meet again one day. God Bless you all.

It is with sadness I learned of Donnie's passing. I graduated RHS with Donnie and always considered him my friend.I remember fondly his beautiful smile,his warm personality,how he made you feel like a true friend-always a gentleman and full of fun. I only wish we could have visited while I was there during our reunion last year. Donnie will be truly missed by all that knew him. May he rest in peace with all the Angels in heaven. My thoughts are with his family-Donnie is remembered with love.

I go back to 6th grade with Donnie, school and sports. What I truly remember was his gentleness. You expected otherwise but he was just a very nice guy with a big heart.
