Obituary of Mario Romano

MARIO ROMANO of South Hackensack passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the age of 76. Prior to retiring he worked for the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Local #4 in Fairfield, NJ. He was a parishioner of Church of the Immaculate Conception, Hackensack. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Lisa) for 49 years. Devoted father of Rosina Romano, Antoinette Romano and Saverino Romano and his wife Johanna. Cherished grandfather of David Pelli, Dominick Giaquinto, Savannah Romano and Sophia Romano. The Funeral on Friday August 21, at 8:30 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for Visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mario's memory may be made to the John Theurer Cancer Center 360 Essex Street, Suite 301, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
