Obituary of Margaret E. Williams

MARGARET E. SMITH WILLIAMS, a lifelong resident of Hackensack, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 24, 2016, at the age of 90 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church where she was a member of the Rosary Society. Beloved wife of the late James F. Williams, Sr. who died in 1997. Devoted mother of Kathleen Peele and her husband Lawrence of Clifton, James F. Williams, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Englewood, Fern P. Taylor of Hackensack, Barry L. Williams and his wife Raquel of Wallington and special mother to Lillian Holmes of Hackensack. Cherished grandmother of Lauren and her husband Troy, Lonnie and his wife Amalin, Charity and her husband Kelly, Barry, Jr. and his wife Monica, Kahlil, Salim and his wife Cindy, Imani and Tiffany. Adored great grandmother of Maya, Malik, Colby, Troi-Elizabeth, Briana, Shayna, Brandon, Cameron, Jaelani, Malia, Trey and Dwayne. Dearest sister of Toni, Cecilia, Thomasina, Ollie and Hortense. Loving friend of Rachel Brown. The funeral will begin on Saturday, January 30th, at 10:15 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack at 11:30 AM with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
