I will always be grateful to Jim Rendine for his many selfless acts of kindness towards my parents. He was a wonderful, generous friend, who truly lived his Christian faith. I was happy to have had the opportunity to tell him this in person two years ago. He very humbly accepted my words. As a member of the Greatest Generation, he exemplified those values of service, purpose and dedication to others. The parish of Sacred Heart Church, the community of Rochelle Park and the world were better places with Jim Rendine's many contributions. He was a pillar of the community.
