Obituary of Veronica Ayrey

VERONICA AYREY, of Maywood, formerly of Rockaway, NY passed away on Friday, April 08, 2016, at the age of 85. She was co-owner and head chef at Ed and Ronnie Restaurant in NY, she was also an avid bingo player, and a member of the St. Bridgette's R.C. Church Rosary Society. Beloved wife of the late Walter Ayrey and the late Edward C. Gajda. Loving mother of Edward Gajda and his wife, the late Roseann, and Robert Gajda and his wife Debbie. Cherished grandmother of Jacqueline, Jonathan, Caitlin and step-mother of Jane, Richard, Michael, Nancy, and John. Dearest sister of the late Marylin Anderson. A Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the funeral home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 PM. Cremation will be private.
