Obituary of Vincent Patrick McHenry

Vincent P. McHenry, of Hackensack, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2016, at the age of 78 years. Prior to retiring he was a Typesetter for the New York Time for many years, he was a member and on the Board of the NY Times Credit Union, Chairman of the NY Times Chapel Union, member of the NY Times Baseball team, a member of the Dinner Club Union City, NJ a member of the Trotters Club of the Meadowlands and a parishioner of Queen of Peace Church, Maywood. Beloved husband of Veronica T. (nee Walker) and the late Maria H. (nee Gudmundsson), also the late Rosemary Burns McHenry mother of the three children. Loving father of Margaret Kozlik and her husband Wayne, Vincent McHenry, Kathleen Wolfe and her husband Joseph, step father of Denise Putnam, Joanne Rivicci and her husband Thomas, Ronald Putnam and his wife Joanne, Pamela Cropley and her husband Kevin and Rose Edwards. Cherished grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great grandfather of one. He also leaves behind his close friend Larry Qualiano. The funeral will begin from the funeral home on Saturday, November 5, at 8:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 400 Maywood Ave, Maywood. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Township. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM for visitation.
