Obituary of Antonio M. Torres

Antonio M. Torres, of Little Ferrry, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 16, 2016, at the age of 83 years. He was born in Fundacion, Colombia and came to this country in 1983 settling in Little Ferry. Prior to retiring, he was a factory worker at Union Camp of Moonachie. Beloved husband for 56 years to Josefa M. (nee Perez). Devoted father of Antonio Torres and his wife Jeanette of Wood-Ridge, Ruth Beltran and her husband Ismael of Little Ferry, Lenis Torres of Little Ferrty, Libardo Torres of Elmwood Park, Jackie Portiollo and her husband Alberto of Little Ferry, Leonardo Torres of Oakland, CA, Patricia Torres of Elmwood Park, Carlos Torres of Ridgefield Park and Luis Torres and his wife Gina of Clifton. Cherished grandfather of 25 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dearest brother of Ruth Cortissoz of Maywood. The funeral will begin on Tuesday, December 20th at 10:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Ave, Hackensack, with entombment following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting will be on Monday from 5 – 9 PM.
