Our deepest condolences to Cathy and John as well as Peter's other family and friends. Peter was a friend for over 40 years to Paul, a generous and loving 'Uncle' to our two daughters Erica (now 32) and Fiona (now 22). We have very happy memories of his visits, going out to eat, going to movies, baseball games, taking walks, holiday and birthday visits, etc. He called often and always wanted to know how everyone was doing. He always kept the emphasis off himself, and was always so caring about others. We will miss him greatly and hope he is at peace now after his struggles. Sending love and hugs.

Peter was my first partner when I started as a Court Officer in 1985. He was a gem of a human being. Peter will live on in my heart as a truly sincere and kind friend to me and my children, Nicholas and Joseph. We had birthdays 2 days apart from each other and he never forgot! I will miss his unbelievable wit, humor, super intelligence and the fact that he was always a gentleman. It is a sad time,but hopefully he is at rest, free of pain with all of the other angels in heaven. Love you, Peter!

So very sorry for your loss, Cathy and John. Peter truly loved his family.
You will be missed, dear friend. Many wonderful times together. Many wonderful stories shared. Play by play of Ohio State football games I couldn't watch; but, you always kept me informed on the score. Petey Pelican in San Diego and Hood to Coast concerts on the beach in Seaside when you visited us on the coast. You will always be in our hearts and thoughts of you truly make us smile. We are truly sad we never got the chance to see New York with you as our guide. Love you!

I never had the opportunity to meet Peter personally, but knew of him through other mutual friends. He will be missed. But he is now in the palms of God's hands; may he rest in peace forever. And God bless his family and friends, and give them the strength to carry forward in Peter's memory.
