Dear Susan and Martin:
Renee and I feel for your loss of Harald (and I am just learning today, Connie). Like your parents, Harald and Connie always expressed loving kindness to our entire family. I know there is life after life. Therefore, I know we will meet again.
May peace surround your home during this moment in your life.
Loving blessings
Dennis and Renee

Friends and Family of Harry,
May God bless you all as you continue to remember our friend, father, brother and uncle Harry.
He was a wonderful friend to me and many times picked me up at Newark Airport when I would come to town to visit. Christmas time 2015 we played the blues on guitar together and enjoyed a sweet time. Harry really could discuss many wonderful concepts and ideas. We visited many times at my sister Carol's and he was the best listener I knew.
I will continue to pray for you that know Harry and we will keep the memories alive as we tell the stories together.
Love
Grace Schwanda

Harry was a great friend and inspiration to me - he helped turn my guitar playing and song writing into something I never knew I could do or had in me. I played in many bands with harry and always felt safe with him on guitar, bass or drums keeping impeccable meter and remembering the songs when people would go array. We had many a fun private times with all the "dogs" (Carm, Martin, Artie, Bluesman, Kim, Mike, Ray, Bobby, Ali, Monty, IDT, Living as Rainer as my landlord and the other cast of Jersey characters) and then with evan and eventually meeting and hanging out with my daughters in 2012. Being on the other side of the world and unable to travel often makes it harder than ever to see each other or for the final wake but - the useful face book message tool always allowed us to be in touch - we talked at length several times a month - most recently about me seeing the Aerosmith Farewell tour in Tel Aviv - Harry and I shared a common love for that band for the first half of their careers and always would rip bands apart for every little mistake or crumb of brilliance they gave a crowd - we could argue back and forth agreeing and disagreeing but always staying anchored... I will miss Harry - he was a unique person in my world, unbiased and true... as a musician he is leaving a big hole in the few musicians that still have a passion to own an instrument and play it - to write and use analog methods - to use your hands and brain and heart and soul.. I could write story after story and I am away from NJ for 10 years already but harry and I were always connected - Im sad, im a bit broken, im not happy to know I will have to look for that friendship elsewhere.. I loved my friend. To the Osters and others who remember me (hopefully good things) that im here if anyone wants to say hello and may we all be comforted and move forward with a part of his special qualities in our own lives.
