Obituary of Michael A. Rossi

Michael A. Rossi, of Palm Coast Florida, formerly of Hackensack and Bogota, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017, at the age of 85 years. Prior to retiring he worked as an operating engineer for Joseph Sanzari Company of Hackensack. He proudly served his country during the Korean War from 1951 – 1954 and was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of the V. F. W. of Bogota and Palm Coast and was a member of the Paramus Elks. Beloved husband of the late Marion Rossi who died in 2015. Devoted father of Mary Robin Unger and her husband Frank of Ringwood, Fred Rossi of Manhattan, Lori Rossi Centrella of Englewood, Kelly Pirrello and her husband Raymond of Palm Coast, Michael Rossi and his wife Janet of Ringwood and the late Donna Lee Rossi. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Kaitlin, Frank, Nick, Donna, Lauren, Renee, Katherine Paige, and Michael Angelo. Adored great grandfather of Orson Elliot. Dearest brother of the late Rose Rossi and Frank Rossi. The prayer service at the funeral home on Thursday, June 8th, at 11:00 AM with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM.
