Obituary of Francine Caruso Sousa

FRANCINE TROBIANO CARUSO SOUSA, of Hackensack died Tuesday, August 1, at the age of 77 years. Prior to retiring she had worked in the Public Relations Department for R. H. Macy's Properties, Paramus for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Francine was an avid sports fan, who loved her N.Y. GIANTS. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family - they meant everything to her. Beloved wife of 32 years to Vincent "Don" Sousa. Cherished mother of Kim Caruso and Gary Bigica, Robert Caruso and his wife Joyce, loving step mother of Donna Sousa, Lori Gombar and her husband Emrich and Sharon Ravenelle and her husband Dan. Devoted grandmother to Victoria, Sasha, Sophie, Valentina, Joseph, Max and AJ. Dearest sister to Angela Sproviero, Annette Garafano and her late husband John and Anthony Trobiano and his late wife Marilyn. Beloved niece of Lillian Miello. Franny was adored by three generations of nieces and nephews as well as numerous relatives and lifelong friends. The funeral from the funeral home on Friday, August 4, at 8:45 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. Interment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation.
