Obituary of Robert V. Mauro

MAURO, ROBERT V. JR. (Bobby), 56 of South Hackensack, passed away suddenly on Thursday August 3, 2017. He was an electrician by trade who also had his own general contracting company before his retirement. Bobby had a tremendous love of Beatles music, he was a very dedicated fan, and he also had an admiration for Marylyn Monroe. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack. Devoted son of Robert V. Mauro Sr. and Rose (nee Cofone). Loving father of Robert J, Mauro of So. Hackensack. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Layla. Dearest brother of Susan Glover and her husband Earl of Bud Lake. Bobby also leaves behind numerous cousins and many close friends. He will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 8, 2017 10:00 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 PM for visitation.
