Obituary of Anthony Giordano

ANTHONY "TONY" GIORDANO, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the age of 81 years. Born in Salerno, Italy, he came to this country in 1960 settling in Hackensack. Prior to retiring, he was the owner of Tony's Custom Cabinets Inc. of Hackensack. He was a member of the Hackensack Elks Lodge # 658. He was a parishioner at Holy Trinity R. C. Church. Beloved husband for 23 years to Romana (nee Berta) and the late Anne Marie (nee Garzo). Devoted father of David Giordano and his wife Amelia, Maria Giordano, Susan Giordano Austin and her husband Al, Maria Shimko and her husband Thomas and Walter Babich and his wife Desiree. Cherished grandfather of Anthony, Joseph, Amanda, Christopher, Annmarie, Michael, Steven, Jacqueline, Amber, Andrea and Arial. Dearest brother of Angelo Giordano and his wife Mary. The funeral on Tuesday, September 19th, at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
