Obituary of Peter T. Rizzi
Peter . Rizzi, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the age of 69 years. He was born in Hackensack and lived in Elmwood Park and Fair Lawn and had lived in Toms River for 7 years. Prior to retiring, he owned United Caterers and Broadway Bar and Grill both of Elmwood Park. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States National Guard 50th Armored Division. Beloved husband of Bonnie L. (nee D'Angelo) for 15 years. Devoted father of Jaclyn Rizzi of Elmwood Park, Janine Mancuso and her husband Anthony of West Nyack, and Adam Gugino of Metuchen. Dearest brother of James Rizzi and his wife Dawn of Lodi and John Rizzi and his wife Carol of Millington. Loving uncle of Fara, Lauren, Jenna and J.C. He affectionately leaves behind Nikki his loving companion that he rescued. Prayers will be on Saturday, January 6th at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The family prefers, in lieu of flowers, that you honor his memory with a memorial donation for Parkinson's Research, at Michael J.
