Obituary of Stephen R. Erickson

STEPHEN R. ERICKSON, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the age of 61 years. He worked as a Field Engineer for Sungard Availability Services of Carlstadt. He was the organizer for the Basking Ridge Classic Car Show and was a member of the Richardson Hunter's Club of Chicago. He was an avid Yankee fan and an avid fisherman. Beloved husband of Jodi (nee Shindle) for 28 years. Cherished father of Brianna, Alex, Banessa and Julian Ericikson. Devoted son of Richard H. Erickson of Rockford, IL and the late Jacqueline (nee Gray). Loving son in law of Henry Shindle and his wife Phyllis (nee Celestina) of Brick. Dearest brother of Sally Meyer and her husband Greg of Champagne, IL, Daniel Erickson and his wife Ines of Batavia, IL, Diane Geniesse and her husband Michael of Buffalo Grove, IL, and David Erickson of Palatine, IL. Dear brother in law of Deborah Murphy and her late husband James of Brick and Kenneth Shindle and his wife Sandy of Coral Springs, FL. Adored uncle of many nieces, nephews and two great nieces. The family will receive friends at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US 202, Branchburg, NJ on Wednesday, January 3rd, from, 5 – 9 PM with a religious service at 8:45 PM.
