Mama, today will mark a full year that you left us, and it still hurts. Life is a distraction, but I always find myself thinking about you every day. Remembering some funny memory or how hard you worked but never complained. I know your never to far away from me, because you are going to be in my heart forever. Mama, I can't help but search and call out for you since I lost you just a day ago. Never again can I call you and tell you about my day. Never again can I hold you in my arms, and tell you how much I love you. Looking at the picture of your gentle and smiling face just above I do remember the words you said to me, and the promise I made to you. I love you Mama, this is true, I will hold you in my broken heart forever and I will never let go.
