Obituary of Maria C. Tarra

Maria C. Tarra (nee Marin), of Hackensack, passed away peacefully, on Friday, June 15, 2018, at her home, at the age of 78 years. Born in Cartagena, Colombia, she came to this country in 1973 settling in Hackensack. Prior to retiring, she worked for Timeplex Company of Hackensack. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack Beloved wife for 54 years of Orlando Tarra. Devoted mother of Yomaria Tarra of Hackensack, Nidia Cerullo and her husband Kenneth of Mahwah, Luz Tarra and her husband Jerome Scaturro of Hackensack, and Andres Tarra and his wife Jackie of Wayne. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Vanessa, Jennjifer, Matthew and Mia. Dearest sister of Sylvia, Regina, Julia, Gloria, Adele, Ricardo Blas, Gregorio and Juan. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 19th, at 10;30 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue Hackensack, with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 – 9 PM.
