Obituary of Richard B. Westerfield

RICHARD B. WESTERFIELD, 75, of Hackensack, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018. Prior to retirement he worked as a custodian for the Paramus Post Office for many years. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Richard especially enjoyed Drag Racing and he was a member of the Fair Lawn Hunting and Fishing Club for many years. Devoted son to the late Alfred and Sophie Westerfield. Dearest brother to Patricia Westerfield, Kenneth Westerfield and his wife Beverly and the late Dennis Westerfield. Richard also leaves behind several beloved cousins and many close friends. He will be greatly missed. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, August 25th at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 – 5 & 7 – 9 PM for visitation.
