Heward Velez, of Moonachie, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at the age of 50 years. He was born in Queens, New York. He worked for Larrin Management Company of Fort Lee as an assistant superintendent. He was a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church of Ridgefield Park. Beloved husband for 24 years of Yvonne M. Cubero. Devoted father of Matthew Velez, Joseph Velez, Nicholas Velez, Zachary Velez ad Timothy Velez. Devoted son of Rosina Gallego Velez of Fort Lee and the latge Manuel Velez. Dearest brother of Stevenson Velez of Fort Lee and Marjorie Velez of New York City. Prayer service by Rev. Fernando E. Guillen on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 – 9 PM. Cremation will be private. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack.
