Obituary of Chris N Aiellos

AIELLOS, CHRIS N., 100, died peacefully on October 25, 2018. Chris was born in Hackensack to the late Michael and Mary (Biasi) Aiellos. He lived in Hackensack until 1968 and then moved to Rochelle Park for 50 years. For the last 4 years he resided happily in Totowa at St. Joseph's Home for the Elderly, Little Sisters of the Poor. Chris is predeceased by his late wife Josephine (nee Puglisi), sisters, Ida Garofalo, Angelina Kuhnen and brothers Joseph Aiellos and Anthony Aiellos. Chris worked for Star Parts in So. Hackensack, The Town of Rochelle Park and the Bergen County Parks Department. He was a member and Past Grand Knight of the Trinity Knights of Columbus #747 he was also a past member of the Holy Name Society and a former parishioner at Holy Trinity Church in Hackensack. Chris loved being around his family. He loved history and enjoyed sharing it with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid Yankee fan, he enjoyed playing cards, bingo and bowling with his friends at Little Sisters. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Jo Ann Radigan (Joseph) and Gail Lotz (Robert), sisters, Jennie Semper and Beverly Van Pamel. Grandchildren, Kevin Radigan (Lauren), Bryan Radigan (Christina), Timothy Radigan (Danielle), Robert Lotz (Suzanne), Jonathan Lotz (Cheryl), Jason Lotz (Lauryn), 11 great grandchildren, Jack, Reagan, Mark, Abbe, Owen and Brendan Radigan, Robert, Camryn, Mason, Cailyn Gibbins and Keira Lotz. He is also survived by many lovely nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Monday, October 29, at 9:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave. Hackensack, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 - 9 PM for visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Little Sisters of the Poor, 140 Shepherd Lane, Totowa, NJ 07512.
