Marlene E. Hernandez (nee Blanco), of Hackensack, passed away peacefully, Friday, November 23, 2018, at the age of 76 years. She was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. She worked as a manufacturer at American Seal Cut. Beloved wife of the late Luis Garcia. Devoted mother of Richard Garcia of Colombia, Rocio Medina and her husband Richie of Little Ferry, Jennrry Garcia and his wife Claudia of Hackensack, and Juan Perez-Blanco of Dumont. Loving grandmother of Katherine, Carolina, Jennifer, Justin, Samantha, Cindy, Ashley, and Stephanie. Cherished great grandmother of Sebastian and Yustin. Dearest sister of Edison Blanco and wife Lourdes of Bay Shore, L.I., Gilberto Blanco and wife Julie of Colombia, and Aura Blanco of Colombia. The funeral on Tuesday, November 27th, at 9:15 AM, from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack with entombment following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 - 9 PM.
