Obituary of Neil T Monte

MONTE, NEIL THOMAS., 70, of Hackensack , died on Sunday December 9, 2018. Neil was a decorated Vietnam Marine Veteran, he was employed by Kulite for the past 25 years. Neil was a die-hard hunter and fisherman, he also loved antiques. Neil was best known for his love of nature, honesty, friendship and apple strudel. Son of the late Robert & Lucile Monte. Neil is also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Monte, David Monte, Stephen Monte and sister Lucile Monte Ira. Survived by his two daughters Christine Doherty and her husband Daniel of Toms River and Jeanine Bartold and her husband Robert of Moyock, NC. His grandchildren Daniel Doherty, Jessica and Sarah Bartold. His sister Joan Monte Stellingwerf, of Vernon , many nieces and nephews and a Special Thank you to Abraham Morcos, of Franklin Lakes , NJ brother and best friend to Neil. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday December 13th at 8:00 PM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street , Hackensack , with a private cremation to follow. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM and Thursday from 5 – 9 PM for visitation.
