Obituary of Bernadette C Rucker

Bernadette C. Rucker (nee Mish), of Lake Ariel, PA, formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at the age of 77 years. Prior to retiring, she worked as a secretary at St. Joseph's Cemetery of Hackensack. She was a parishioner at St. Thomas More R. C. Church of Lake Ariel, PA, where she volunteered on the bereavement committee. She was a former parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church of Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Carl W. Rucker who died in 2016. Devoted mother of Carl Rucker and his wife Christa of Walkill, NY, Nicole Galfo of Jefferson, and Jeffrey Rucker and his wife Ann Marie of Pompton Lakes. Cherished grandmother of Brendan, Cassidy, Sarah, Carl, Ava, and Jacqueline. Dearest sister of Joseph Mish and his wife Marie of Laurens, NY. Loving aunt of Adam and Shannon. The funeral on Friday, January 18ath at 10:30 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Hone, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon at St. Joseph's R. C. Church, 460 Hudson Street, Hackensack with burial following at the Northern New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Sparta. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 – 8 PM.
