Obituary of Michael J Mariniello

Michael J. Mariniello, of Paramus, formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at the age of 77 years. Prior to retiring, he was the Finance Officer for the Township of Teaneck and several other municipalities. He was Past National President (2004) of Unico International and member and former president of the Hackensack Chapter. He was on the Board of Directors at H & E Telephone Federal Credit Union of Rochelle Park and a member of the Maywood Knights of Columbus # 3426. Michael was a parishioner at St. Francis R. C. Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, and on the Finance Committee. Beloved husband for 56 years of Angela (nee Zoccoli). Devoted father of Mary-Terese Zwerling and husband David of Ramsey, Michael Mariniello of Paramus, and Jennifer Mariniello of Mahwah. Cherished grandfather of James and Kaitlyn. Dearest brother of the late Gabriel Mariniello. Loving brother-in-law of Charles Zoccoli and wife Frances of Ramsey, Jo Mellone and husband Mickey of Allendale, and Joan Mariniello of Maywood. Adored uncle of many nieces and nephews. The funeral on Saturday, January 19th, at 8:45 AM, from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 - 8 PM. The family prefers that you honor his memory with a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908
