Obituary of Alphonse L. De Rosa

Alphonse L. DeRosa, a lifelong resident of Hackensack, passed away peacefully, on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the age of 69 years. Prior to retiring, Al was Co-owner of R and A Construction Company of Cedar Grove and was a member of NJ Carpenter's Local # 254. Previously he was a floral designer and was the owner of AU Florist of Hackensack. He was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Hackensack. Beloved husband for 40 years of Mary Anne (nee Romano). Devoted father of Michael DeRosa and his wife Karolina. Special father to Lynne Messineo and her wife Donna. Cherished grandfather of Anthony and Gabriella. Dearest brother of Camille Bassano and her husband Robert Keller, and Mary Kay Ennis and her husband Jim. Loving brother- in- law of Lynne Carluccio and her husband Joe and the late Neil Bassano. Adored uncle of Amy Bassano and her husband Alex Herndon, Adam Bassano, Adam Carluccio and the late Brad Ennis. The prayer service on Monday, January 28th at 1:00 PM, at the G. Thomas Gentile, 397 Union Street, Hackensack with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 - 8 PM,
