Obituary of Alfonso E. Catano

CATANO, ALFONSO E. Jr. of Hackensack, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the age of 61 years. Prior to retiring he worked as a Technical Engineer for Liz Claiborne for many years. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack and a member of their choir. Alfonso loved playing his guitar and he always had a smile. Beloved husband to Adaga E. (nee Javier). Devoted son of Alfonso Catano Sr. and Milda (nee Lopez). Loving father of Amy, Ashialdmy, Aldwing and Luis Catano. Dearest brother of Berenice Catano and her husband Willy Tiburcio, Alfredo Catano and his wife Arlette, Miguel Catano and his wife Glenda, Wilfry Catano and his wife Helen and Franklin Catano and his wife Maggie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, with burial following at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 – 9:00PM for visitation.
