FILIP REINHARDT, 88, of Hackensack , went to be with His Lord on Monday, June 8, 2009. Born in Mramorak , Yugoslavia , he immigrated to the USA in 1952 and lived in Hackensack since then. Filip was a lifelong member and active participant of the Apostolic Christian Church in Woodcliff Lake . Filip worked for Spinnerin Yarn Company for 40 years. Filip is survived by his devoted wife of almost 63 years, Barbara (nee Hildenbrandt), who cared for him lovingly at home during the final years of his illness. He is also survived by his six children: Elsa of Hackensack, Johanna Bayati and husband Ghahraman, of Hillsdale, Harry and wife Cheryl, of Hillsdale, Lillian Shurance and husband Tom, of Wadsworth, Ohio, Heidi of Hackensack, and Philip and wife Adina, of South Hackensack, as well as 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, a loving brother Willy Reinhardt and wife Sigrid, of Toronto, Canada, and a beloved brother-in-law, Karl Hildenbrandt and his wife Else of Bergenfield, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Filip was a very humble, gentle and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, as well as a loyal and devoted friend to many! He will be sorely missed but we all rejoice that he has gone to his heavenly home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday evening at 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Visiting will be on Thursday from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Burial will take place Friday at 10:00 AM at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus . In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions be made in Filip's memory to the "Apostolic Christian Church" for two missions that were especially dear to his heart because he has grandchildren serving as missionaries in both locations: Canaan Land Ministries (a Christian orphanage in Brazil) or Colegio Privado Adonai (a Christian school in Paraguay). Memorial contributions may be sent to the Apostolic Christian Church, 171 Pascack Road , Woodcliff Lake , NJ 07677.
