Obituary of Ujagar Singh

Ujagar Singh, of Mahwah, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Brighton Gardens Assisted Living in Saddle River, NJ. He was born in Amritsar, India and came to the United States in 1970, settling in White Plains, NY. Prior to retiring, he had worked as a Director of Social Work for Westchester Medical Center in Hawthorne, NY. He was also one of the founders of Camp Chardi Kala in Stony Point, NY. Beloved Husband of the late Gobind Kaur. Loving father of Bhavdeep Singh and his wife Manbeen Kaur of Mahwah, Livleen Singh and his wife, Mannamrit Kaur of Stony Point, NY and the late Jesleen Kaur and her husband Arvinder Singh of Albany, NY. Loving grandfather of Savneet Singh, Prabhdeep Singh, Satwant Singh, Diviapreet Kaur, Kavitoj Singh, Kirenjot Kaur, Sirjanhar Singh and Gurnoor Kaur. Loving great grandfather of Mahaan Singh, Aman Singh, Sahana Singh and Azaad Singh. Dearest brother of the late Drashan Singh Sobti, Nirmal Singh, Surinder Kaur, Prabhjit Kaur, Manjit Kaur and Damyant Kaur. Loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM, at Funeral Home. Cremation to follow at Cedar Lawn Crematory at Paterson.
