Obituary of Daniel E. Marshall

Daniel E. Marshall, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at the age of 51 years. Daniel was a machinist and worked at F. P, Schmidt Company of South Hackensack. He was a faithful parishioner at St. Peter the Apostle R. C. Church of River Edge. Daniel loved woodworking and carpentry. Beloved husband of Christine M (nee Ott) for 11 years. Devoted father of Daniel E. Marshall II and Emily J. Marshall. Loving son of Josephine (nee Unger) of South Hackensack and the late William Marshall. Dearest brother of Patricia Weidner and her husband the late John of Little Ferry, William Marshall of South Hackensack, Michael Marshall of South Hackensack,. Kathleen Franklin and her husband William of Saylorsburg, PA, Thomas Marshall of South Hackensack, Colleen Emery and her husband Todd of Teaneck, and Arlene Richter and her husband Ernest of Greenwood Lake, NY. Adored uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dear son in law of Anita (nee Zieger) and Paul Ott of Dumont. The funeral on Saturday, December 19th, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle R. C. Church, 445 Fifth Avenue, River Edge, with entombment following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 – 8 PM. The family prefers in lieu of flowers that you honor Daniel's memory with a donation to either A.L.S.
