Obituary of Mary Syrek

MARY TURCO SYREK, a life long resident of Hackensack . died on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 94. Prior to retiring in 1983 she was a Manager for Jorgensen Restaurant in Maywood for over 25 Years. She was a Parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack . Beloved wife of the late Steve Syrek (1989). Devoted mother of Bob Syrek of Hackensack , Eugene Syrek of Hackensack , Arlene Faustini of Little Ferry and Richard Syrek and his wife Maryann of Cold Spring, NY. Cherished Grandmother of Joseph, Dina, Michael and Steven and Great Grandmother of Ryan and Dean. She is predeceased by two brothers and one sister. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, April 14th, 10:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church , 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery , Hackensack . Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
