Obituary of Sherene N Ellis

Sir Winston Churchill, a famous author once said, "we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give". Sherene Natoya Ellis will forever be remembered for always giving with open arms. Sherene was born in Kingston Jamaica WI, on February 1st, 1976. She was the second born child of Milton Francis and Veronica Williams. Her siblings are Nichola, Daimian and Shanna-Kay. She attended Martin Luther King High School (NYC), and Fairleigh Dickinson University (Teaneck NJ) where she earned her BSN. She graduated with honors and eventually became a RN employed at Hackensack University Medical Center where she worked for 23 years. Special recognition to her 4-West family at the hospital, who she worked with throughout her entire career. In 2002 Sherene and her loving husband, Condius Ellis wed. The union produced three beautiful children: Jayden, Kamryn and Emersyn. Her family was her entire world. Her ultimate service was found in motherhood. She believed in ensuring their happiness and guiding them towards excelling in life as mature, healthy and happy individuals. Sherene excelled at work and was most dedicated to her profession. She enjoyed living her life to the fullest, especially during family functions. She always looked forward to vacationing with her family. She was never one to pass up a good meal, which was how her world-renowned chef husband won her over. She had an over the top personality and enjoyed taking her time to prepare for functions, you couldn't rush "diva Sherene", no matter how hard you tried. She was driven, passionate and fearless when it came to family and friends. You could always count on Sherene to share her advice and let you know the right way to get things done, in a loving way. This was evident in her fierce caring and her offering of protective guidance for all in her world. Loving memories are the best treatment for pain. At this time our family would like everyone to rejoice in Sherene finding her peace. And even though it is human nature to be saddened by her passing; we have all been blessed with her bright light shining amazingly in our lives. She is survived by Condius (husband), Enid (grandmother), Veronica and Milton (parents), Jayden (son), Kamryn and Emersyn (daughters), Nichola, Daimian and Shanna-Kay (siblings), aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and friends. Amen! May you all find comfort in her memories - The Ellis and Francis Family thank everyone for their thoughtfulness and love at this time of bereavement. God's blessing be with you all.
