Carol, I remember the many years working with you @ E.T. Browne Drug Co., Inc. We had so many fun times there and with our friends too ! You were always smiling and happy and made everyone around you smile too ! We'll miss you dearly ! I was blessed to had seen you the day before, and see how happy and content you were in your life ; that gives me some solace in knowing that you had everything you wanted ! I remember this picture I took of you from your Retirement Party that we had for you, celebrating you as you deserved wearing your crown! Rest in Peace our dear friend,Carol ! We Love you !

Thinking of my fond memories of Carol at this difficult time. She was a very close and dear friend. We became friends at Weight Watchers as she was my very first leader. Sharing our healthy plans led to a 36 year friendship. I miss our "walks and talks", her beautiful heart of gold; her love of life and her upbeat cheery voice. She was always a very dependable friend. She has left an empty place in my heart and will be missed by all.

If I could describe Carol in one word, I would say JOYFUL. Carol was a true and wonderful friend and neighbor for over twenty years. We lived one floor apart in the Pierre. We got acquainted on the treadmill in the gym where she talked me into trying WW and we became fast friends. Even after I moved an hour away we met for dinner for our birthdays every year and we never missed. She was the most positive person, full of life and humor and always tastefully and impeccably dressed. I will greatly miss her and her beautiful smile. I love you Carol. <3

The world has lost a wonderful and thoughtful woman who loved life and loved to laugh. She will be missed.
A mass will be said at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. (The mass card was sent to the Gentile Funeral Home ahead of the 11:15 a.m. Prayer Service.) And a donation was made to the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation.

Here is a photo of Carol and me in St. Martin, on May of 2016. My friend, Peg was also with us. I sent the photo into The Record newspaper's TRAVEL section, and to our delight they printed it! We had such a fun time there : beautiful Orient Beach just steps from our rooms. Butler service with drinks and food, umbrellas and lounge chairs. Tourist trinkets and shirts being offered by local people selling on the beach. I'm also posting a photo of a birthday dinner for Carol while we there. The servers added the fiery candle. The last photo is Carol with Livia, who she worked with for over 25 years at E.T. Brown. Livia was my neighbor, but I met Carol at our bereavement group. We were so surprised to find we all knew each other. Look at how beautiful Carol is in each photo. Always dressed perfectly, with not a hair out of place! Carol, you will be so missed... by so many.

Carol, my dear friend, as you always referred to me as in your texts, I miss you dearly and am devastated. Having known you for nearly 29 years when we first met at Weight Watchers, you have always been a true friend. You were a great listener with qualities not found in most people today. Carol...I am so happy to have such fond memories of all the years of our friendship. What a true and wonderful friend 35+ years you have been.
