Obituary of Angelina M Scillieri

Angelina M. Scillieri (nee Toriello), a life long resident of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on July 12th 2021 at the age of 107 years. Prior to retiring she had worked as a clerk for the Hackensack Housing Authority for many years, prior she was a seamstress and she started her career as a bookkeeper for her fathers construction company Toriello Construction in Hackensack. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Society, the Golden Ages, Rosebuds, the Socialites, Third order of St. Francis and she was parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack. Angelina loved Country Music, Bingo, the Slots, Crossword Puzzles, Baking, Dancing but most of all God, her Family, Church and her Country. Beloved wife of the late Charles B. Scillieri Sr. (1972). Devoted mother of Joseph, Joyce, Charles Jr. and Gloria Rose. Loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and great grandmother of four. Dearest sister of the late Fritz, Palmer, Joseph, George, Evelyn and William. The funeral will begin on Friday, July 16, at 9:00 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM for visitation.
