Obituary of Cesar V. Lema Cando

Cesar Vicente Lema Cando, 90 of Teterboro, NJ passed away peacefully on October 2, 2021. Cesar was born in Ambato, Ecuador on January 25, 1931. After learning and mastering the craft of shoemaking, he sold custom high-end shoes in Guayaquil. Cesar emigrated to the United States in 1968 and settled in Hackensack, NJ. He continued to visit his family in Ecuador and Colombia for many years. Cesar retired in 1993 and enjoyed listening to pasillos (folklore music), watching fútbol, and spending time with his family in New Jersey. He will always be remembered as living his life to the fullest. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack on Tuesday October 5, 2021. Cremation will be private.
